Bhakta Community of Dallas

The Bhakta Community of Dallas is a local a community of people of Indian descent from the state of Gujarat in India. They had reached out to me to completely redesign their website, give it a modern look/feel and give their community a better web and mobile experience in a short 3 week period. Using the design process as with all my other projects I was able to give this community exactly what they were looking for in a new responsive website.

User Research

Already having familiarity with this community, I was able to understand the audience and quickly set up 3 user interviews and do an affinity analysis off the interviews.

Affinity Analysis

Information Architecture

Based off the user interviews and affinity analysis I put together a site map for the new website.

Sketches and Wireframes

The information architecture enabled me to begin sketching out mock-ups and wireframing the new website.

Interaction Design

With the wireframing done in Sketch, I was able to create interactions using InvsionApp to get a sense of the flow.

Visual Design

Using sketch I was able to create a high fidelity visual design for the production-ready site with all the latest UI trends.
